Mappingwall – Zortrax 3D Printed Multimedia Installation

Mappingwall – Zortrax 3D Printed Multimedia Installation

Published

Time to forget about projections on a standard flat white wall. As we’re obviously strong advocates of all three dimensions, here’s a multimedia installation that thanks to projection mapping puts traditional video projection to shame. In cooperation with Piloci Co.

Studio, we’ve created this mappingwall that shines really bright and amazes with its irregular surface. The mappingwall of 63 square inches was divided into four triangles, each filled with 83 pyramids 3D printed on Zortrax M200. The interactive LED lighting combined with transparent Z-GLASS-made surface gives the stunning multicolor visual effect that’s hard to forget. This project is close to our hearts as it was prepared for the first Zortrax Store opening in October 2014.
