Zortrax presents new products for the entire ecosystem

The new products presented by Zortrax at the Zortrax Experience Conference in Olsztyn include a new 3D printer, new materials, and a completely new version of the original software.

The new products include the Zortrax Inventure printer and DSS station, Z-PLA Pro and Z-ASA Pro materials, and Z-SUITE version 2.0. This is the biggest event in the company’s history ever since its establishment.
Over 100 of business partners who sell Zortrax’ products in over 80 countries worldwide joined the company’s representatives and special guests in attending Zortrax Experience Conference.

We used Zortrax Experience to present new products for all elements of our ecosystem. The star is the Zortrax Inventure 3D printer. The new version of the original Z-SUITE software offers numerous useful functions, which will improve the day-to-day operations of our clients even more. We are very glad to have been able to present everything live, right here in Olsztyn, where it all began.

Zortrax Inventure

The breakthrough Zortrax printer will get its commercial release on 20th of June. This is a unique solution distinguished by its closed chamber with HEPA filter, the function for simultaneous printing of two materials (base and support), exceptional printing precision, and stylish design. The printer will be accompanied by the release of numerous dedicated materials – starting with Z-PLA, Z-PETG, and Z-SUPPORT – with more to come.
Along with the Zortrax Inventure, the manufacturer will also release a dedicated DSS station – a device allowing for quick and easy dissolution of the support material in heated water. This is also a very safe solution, which allows for utilisation of the remains even in the conditions of your own home.

Z-PLA Pro, Z-ASA Pro

The new materials will be directed mainly at professionals. Z-PLA Pro will be compatible with M200 and M300 printers. It recreates details perfectly and has a matte surface. Among other things, it is suitable for architectural models, where fine detail is extremely important, as well as for industrial designing and modelling.

Testing prototypes outside never been easier! Meet Z-ASA Pro - UV stable material that is resistant to weather conditions and chemicals.

Z-ASA Pro is a material resistant to external factors like UV rays. It is suitable for even the least favourable external weather conditions. It offers reduced shrinkage, which allows for the construction of bigger models and ABS-level resistance.

On 18th of July, Zortrax’ clients will gain access to the beta version of the dedicated Z-SUITE 2.0 software. Major improvements will include the option of working in multiple tabs (like an internet browser), editable support, analysis algorithm, and grid repairs to establish and automatically repair potential errors in the model. The software’s interface has also been improved to be more intuitive.
Until the official release of the full version of Z-SUITE 2.0, users can use Z-SUITE version 1.11, which will introduce support for the Zortrax Inventure 3D printer and profiles of the new materials (Z-ASA Pro and Z-PLA Pro).

How 3D Printing Can Be Used in The Fashion Industry

3D printing has settled for good in the fashion industry. We’ve already seen the greatest industry designers present this technology on their catwalks. It has also become increasingly common among the young and wild ones. Where is this all heading? How can fashion make use of this trend? For now, let us reflect on this—when virtually all of us know the entire behind the scenes of the process of manufacturing Dita von Teese’s dress, assembled from 17 sections printed independently, 3,000 links, and more than 13,000 Swarovski crystals, but somehow it’s still too soon for us to be able to 3D-print fully original T-shirts in the privacy of our homes.
